…and bravely I am decluttering and packing one box after the other…the hill of boxes is growing and I slowly realize that sooner or later there will be a problem of putting them somewhere….20 something boxes for the books in our living room only..well…it is going to be an adventure to move house after 14 years in one appartment. I wish it would be over already LOL

This year we have loads of snow which is pretty unusual for the area I am living in. But it is wonderful! All looks like a sparkling wonderland.

Don’t you love autum, the colors, the rustling sound of the leaves when you take a walk in the forest? I love this time of the year. And how about you?
We are still very busy with our “old house to new house”- project and still have a lot of work to do. If you are interested you can follow the process here
This doesn’t only affect my and my kids’s daily schedule but also my design work as I can hardly find some time for drawing, crafting and designing. But well, I still do some tiny little things and will show them soon.

And on the digital subject…we’re highlighting one of our Digital Goddesses here. I posed some questions for one of our Creative Team members, kjbstevens. And check out her amazing talent.

1) What are your online forum/gallery names? kjbstevens or Kelly S

2) What programs do you use? Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom

3) What type of camera do you use? Canon Rebel Xti

4) Tell us a little about yourself, please. I’m a 26 year old stay at home with 2 little girls. Bridget just turned 3 and Josie is 1. My first love is photography and scrapbooking was a good fit with it so I could shares stories to go along with my photos for my kids when they get older.

5) Where do you call home? We live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, but I’m from Southwestern Virginia.

6) How long have you been digital scrapbooking? I really started a year ago last February so just over a year.

7) Where do you gather your inspiration from? Usually I get it from designers I like and their kits. I can look at the colors and elements and get ideas on pages to make with the pictures I have. I still get excited when layouts come out the way I wanted them too.

Do you have any other hobbies? I love fishing trips with my husband. We try to go as often as possible in the summer. I’m excited about going flounder fishing in a few weeks.

How are you? Long time no read LOL but I was suffering from a strep throat again (yes, let those homeless bacteria make their home in my throat but they didn’t really behave well, so had to kick them out again ) and I hope that I am finally done now.

Well, we here inGermany don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day. There are some trying to sell their hearts and stuffs but it is not really a big thing here. Some english teachers make their classes write Valentine cards but that’s about it. But Valentine’s Day or not, it is always important and a wonderful thing to do, letting someone know that you love him, that you respect him and are thinking of him. It doesn’t matter if it is your best friend, hubby, Mum or Dad, it can also be a helpful neighbor or just someone you see at the supermarket every day, who is always nice, friendly and helpful..so just let them know that you care and appreciate this very much! And if we need a special day to remind us to show some love, well, than it’s okay Happy Valentine’s Day to you and yours!!

Einen schönen Valentinstag Euch allen! Auch wenn wir eigentlich keinen Valentinstag feiern, ist ja nie verkehrt, denen, die wir lieben, eine kleine Freude zu machen. Manchmal ist es vielleicht sogar ganz gut, einen Tag zu haben, der uns in unserem Trott und täglichen Streß daran erinnert, wie wichtig es ist, auch einmal “Danke” oder “Schön, daß es Dich gibt” zu sagen.

Aber muß es immer nur jemand sein, der einem nahe steht? Genauso könnte es ja auch jemand sein, wie die Verkäuferin, die dir jeden Tag freundlich beim Bäcker deine Brötchen in die Tüte packt und immer noch etwas dazu steckt, oder der Nachbar, der immer mal wieder mit etwas aushilft, der auch nicht gleich meckert, wenn die Musik ‘mal lauter ist und mit dem man eigentlich ein super Verhältnis hat (was auch nicht so normal ist). Ich denke, jeder von euch kennt ein solches Beispiel und weiss über was ich schreibe. Also los, macht auch einmal diesen Menschen eine kleine Freude! Und wenn es nur das ist, dass ihr ihnen sagt, wie toll ihr das eigentlich findet, dass sie immer sooo nett sind!!
