Well, I learned a little something today, as I was preparing for this week’s post. It becomes difficult sometimes as to how I will title the posting, ya know! Anywho, did you know that the Ide in the Ides of March is the 15th of March, May, July, and October? I did not know that! I love Wikipedia! You can learn so much on that site and I don’t think there’s a subject that they don’t cover. Simply amazing where we’ve come in this digital age!

And speaking of digital….that brings me to Hybrid. Did you enjoy the little hybrid project that we posted this week? How cool, huh? We hope you enjoyed it and will bring you more…so stay tuned. And on the digital subject…we’re highlighting one of our Digital Goddesses here. I posed some questions for one of our Creative Team members, kjbstevens. And check out her amazing talent.

1) What are your online forum/gallery names? kjbstevens or Kelly S

2) What programs do you use? Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom

3) What type of camera do you use? Canon Rebel Xti

4) Tell us a little about yourself, please. I’m a 26 year old stay at home with 2 little girls. Bridget just turned 3 and Josie is 1. My first love is photography and scrapbooking was a good fit with it so I could shares stories to go along with my photos for my kids when they get older.

5) Where do you call home? We live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, but I’m from Southwestern Virginia.

6) How long have you been digital scrapbooking? I really started a year ago last February so just over a year.

7) Where do you gather your inspiration from? Usually I get it from designers I like and their kits. I can look at the colors and elements and get ideas on pages to make with the pictures I have. I still get excited when layouts come out the way I wanted them too.

Do you have any other hobbies? I love fishing trips with my husband. We try to go as often as possible in the summer. I’m excited about going flounder fishing in a few weeks.

It’s just been one of those weeks, y’all!  (Note my southern drawl! LOL)  The weather has been a doozey!!  No matter where you are in the world, don’t you just love the weeks right before the spring flowers start to bloom?  One day its warm and the next day its cold.  We were in the 80s last weekend and now, we’re bearing down for one heck of a winter storm.  It should be our last ‘BLAST’ before spring and I can’t wait!

And I’ll just bet you can’t wait for Sylvie’s new ‘Birdy’ kit coming soon.  It’s absolutely gorgeous and just screams ‘SPRING is HERE!”  Stay tuned!
