Well, I am still here and no, there is nothing fishy about this post! I simply loved Maria’s idea!

More wonderfully creative and inspirational layouts and projects with Sausan Designs papers and stamps can be seen on the norvegian Blog of  CasaKreativ or their main site . No worries, you don’t really have to speak nor read Norvegian to get inspired (maybe only to read all those lovely compliments about me LOLOL)!

Supplies:
Computer, Printer, colored or white cardstock, color pens, Sausandesigns Clearstamps “Snail Mail”,
stamp pad, scissors, glue
Ihr benötigt:
Computer, Drucker, farbigen oder weißen Cardstock, Farbstifte, Sausandesigns Clearstamps “Schneckenpost”, Stempelkissen,  Schere, Klebstoff

How to – So wird’s gemacht:
1. Print faux stamps on colored or white cardstock using this program. You may want to apply the following settings:
 1. Mit Hilfe dieses Programmes “gefakte Briefmarken” auf farbigen Cardstock oder auf weißes Papier ausdrucken. Folgende Einstellungen wählen:

Und so sieht es ausgedruckt aus.

2. Now the Sausandesigns’ Snailmail Clearstamps will fit exactly on the “stamps”. Stamp them on and color them.
2. Dann passen die Motive der Sausandesigns Schneckenpost genau auf eine “Briefmarke”.
Mit den Schneckenpost bestempeln und nach Wunsch colorieren:

3. If you printed on colored cardstock but would like to have colored snails you have to  stamp them again on white paper, color them and then cut them out. Then glue them on top of the stamps motif.
3. Farbige Schnecken bekommt man, in dem man die Schnecke nochmal auf weißem Papier abstempelt, bunt malt – konturgenau ausschneidet und auf die Schnecke auf dem Cardstock klebt.

You are now ready to use them! Have fun!

And apart from being cute, my clearstamps are precut and selfadhesive, sticking easily on an acrylic block. There is no special stamp ink required. Made from top grade photopolymer, they are tear resistant, Latex and phtalate – free,

…oh the Clearstamps? Well, you still have to be patient as I am going to show them to you tomorrow….

Dafür braucht ihr:
einen Briefumschlag, einen Locher (ich habe einen Crop-a-Dile verwendet), eine Schere oder einen Cutter, ein Falzbein (optional), Ribbon Eurer Wahl, Cardstock, Clearstamps (ich habe hier die Sausandesigns Bordüren und Blumenstempel verwendet) und Embellies

Hi! I am Lena. Today I will show you how to make an easy peasy little card out of an envelope.

This is what you need:
an envelope, a hole punch (I used a Crop-a-Dile), a craft knife or scissors, a bonefolder (optional), ribbon of your choice, Cardstock, Clearstamps (I used the Sausandesigns’ Borders and Funky Flowers Clearstamp sets) and embellies
Und so geht’s – Let’s get started:

1. Nehmt einen Umschlag
1. Take an envelope

2. Faltet ihn wie eine Karte in der Mitte
2. Fold it in half like a greeting card

3. An der rechten, offenen Seite, mit der Crop-a-Dile ein Loch stanzen
3. Punch a hole on the right, open side of the envelope using a Crop-a-Dile or your favorite punching tool

4. Öffnet die “Karte” wieder und klappt die Klebelasche nach oben. Dann schneidet den rechten Teil der Klebelasche weg und klebt den linken Teil der Lasche zu
4. Open the envelope again and fold the flap open. Then cut the right side of the flap and glue the remaining left part close.

5. Sucht Euch ein schönes PP für außen und ein passendes Ribbon aus. Ich habe hier
Sausandesigns Funky Funky – Bloom verwendet. Fädelt das Ribbon durch die beiden Löcher.
5. Now choose your cardstock and a corresponding ribbon. Then thread the ribbon through the punched holes.

6. Jetzt wird die Innenseite der Karte bestempelt. Ich habe dafür die Sausandesigns Bordüren- und Blumen Sets verwendet.
6. Now stamp the inside of your card. I used the Sausandesigns’ Borders and Funky Flowers Sets.
7. Mit Aquarellstiften kolorieren.
7. Add color to your stamped pattern.

8. Jetzt schneidet ein Tag zu, so daß es in der Größe in die kleine Tasche der rechten Innenseite der Karte passt.
8. Now cut a tag to fit inside the little pocket on the right side inside your card

9. Jetzt die Außenseiten mit dem PP bekleben. Ich habe noch einmal einen Blumenstempel auf farbiges Papier gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Pads aufgeklebt.
9. Cut the cardstock to size and glue it to the outsides of our card. I also stamped a flower stamp on colored paper, cut it out and used a foam pad to make it look dimensional.

10. Innen kann man auch noch etwas mehr dekorieren. (Ich habe hier Sausandesigns Miss Peasley verwendet)
10. You can also embellish the inside. (I used Sausandesigns’ Miss Peasley here)

Now holidays are over, DD went back to school, DS back to kindergarten and I..well back in front of the computer! it seems to be hard keeping track these days…2 weeks went just like nothing since we came back and days are filled with organizing school and kindergarten life, appointments, unpredictable happenings and so on. I guess you know what I am talking about.
So what is new? I am back and working on new stuffs, I am a proud guest at Inspiration Lane thanks to the wonderful Jenn (see my shop here ) and I am still trying to do better in updating my blog and being around leaving some love in galleries and forums and blogs and you know what. It seems that I am always running out of time, though….Oh, I am also working on new papers for the Sausandesigns scrapbooking paper collection, so stay tuned.
Yesterday I also updated the Stamps Blog with a fun project brought to you by sweet Teena, so just drop by and take a look!
While browsing the web a bit, I stumbled across the blog of this nice Lady here. I couldn’t believe what I saw! Wendy had seen my papers and stamps and blogged about them! Just like that! How cool is this? I have been soooo proud I can’t tell you!  Thank you Wendy! You made my day..or better you made my evening while waiting for DD to call to make me pick her up from a birthday party, struggling with my digi kit and a whiny 5 year old whose nose is running and who wants to be big and not go to bed although he is really really tired! Thank you!
Oh, and I do have a Flickr account now, too (YAY to me!!).
Well, it is nice but another thing that I should keep updated..ugh..so bear with me and my chaotic soul!
